Kids Craft

OK- you know you are a slacker when you have a playdate at your house every week and have never thought to incorporate a group activity into the mix.  Aiden and I went for a playdate at my dear friend, Nikki's house the other day, and she had orchestrated a beautiful Easter Kid's Craft for all the children...I think she just volunteered to host Wednesday play group from now on...

Wow what a difference!

So, after much debate, I have finally purchased a new 50 mm lens.  It was something I knew I needed and was sure I would have to have eventually, but I did not know to what extreme until I used this lens today.  The quality is amazing and the large aperature is addicting!  I am having such a blast with it and am so glad I finally took the leap. Here are some examples of the Straight-out-of-camera work.

Now if I could only convince Aiden of how much fun it is.....
